OUR SPECIAL INVITATION TO YOU , A BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS

We know that a breast cancer diagnosis brings unique challenges, but we also believe that, together, we can find strength and rebirth.

Dragon Boat, a sport that unites breast cancer survivors worldwide, is a powerful way to reconnect with life, movement, and hope, even for those without an athletic background.

Come row with us, strengthen your body and mind, and forge new friendships. We're waiting for you with open arms.

SOLIDARITY PADDING

The Solidarity Paddle , held monthly by the UMAUMA institute, aims to promote health awareness, focusing on raising awareness about breast cancer, within the community.

The event, which is open to the general public, offers a unique Dragon Boat paddling experience alongside the Remadoras Rosa (Pink Paddling Women), providing an enjoyable day of interaction, information exchange, and solidarity. Come and experience it!

For almost two years I have been participating in the UMAUMA project, where I was received with great warmth and affection by our technician Alessandra, collaborators, and participants. I had bilateral breast cancer, and rowing is very good for me physically; the movements strengthen my arms, and emotionally, being among people brings life and joy, and I've made many friends. Since the cancer diagnosis, I've had several depressive episodes, and now I feel very good, with high self-esteem and the awareness that together we are stronger.
Gratitude to UMAUMA, which does so much good in my life and in the lives of others.
